Wake County Youth Food Summit:
We're delighted to share that Pantry Patrol will be presenting at the Wake County Youth Food Summit that is taking place on June 23, 2023 from 10am - 4pm at the Dorthea Dix Park in Raleigh, NC.
What is the summit about?
The purpose of the summit is to raise awareness about food insecurity. Students will have the opportunity to learn about initiatives taking place here in Wake county to increase food security as well. There will also be workshops about nutrition, sustainability, gardening, and service.
What is Pantry Patrol's involvement?
Pantry Patrol will be presenting from 12pm - 1pm to share our work. We will be talking about the features in our app, as well as the thought process and the technical elements behind how we developed our app.
